What i am sharing here are the results of months of painstaking research from speaking with folks.
I do not seek to profit and you can see that until now i have not made any recommendations of agents or persons. Bros who PMed me can also tell you that i have never recommended anyone. They can just go direct without a need for agent if you read my last couple of posts.
No property taxes, can someone start reading the posts seriously? You will find that i have already repeated no property/taxes on capital gains(since 2007)
I am not sure what you meant by hidden costs but i would strongly suggest you go down, ask the developer or agents(depending on what you are buying)
Look around, i also asked the folks here to rent if they are unsure.
Remember, i am only saying that moving to JB is a good thing, Horizon Hills/Mont Calista are just the good ones i know of. There are also other good properties around but i am just sharing my experience.
To help fellow Singaporeans here who genuinely want to move to JB and to stop the detractors(kopi money/dangerous/plantation/hidden costs), you can go straight to the site to find out more about property tax and others.

Other properties, this one i haven't tried but may be worth a look:

But what about hidden cost - property tax, utilities tax and foreigner/Sporean tax?
There are no such taxes, forget all the things you learned in Singapore, its really pretty savings on many fronts:

Hi Wuqi,
ReplyDeleteI have just bought a place in JB and the developer requires me to pay 10,000 MYR being levy as well as another 600 MYR fee. Please advise is it compulsory for buyers to pay this so called 600 MYR as processing fee? Thank you.
